Luxury Spa Philosophy
Our goal is
to create an atmosphere that exudes luxury and pleasure, but also relaxation
and silence, for our guests. This creates an opportunity to get away from
everyday life for a while and really relax.
Typically
we Swedes do not permit ourselves to indulge. Normally it should hurt before we
have a massage. Naturally the massage shall hurt as well. At Luxury Spa we aim
for the guest to just relax and enjoy while our skilled therapists do the job.
At first we
removed "painful" treatments as waxing etc., but since our customers
wanted them back, they are back at the menu. In our world, the guest is always
right of course.
We think
that when you give yourself a spa treatment, you should have the possibility to
enjoy it with all your senses, and that is our focus!
According
to our philosophy we'd like to offer our guests an extra possibility to
enjoy, and in our world, cucumber water isn't particularly tasteful. On the
other hand, a glass of white wine, or a full bodied red wine or bubbling Champagne
is just that!
If you love
wine, and we do, you should of course take the chance to taste wine after a
treatment. Your senses are more alert, the aromas become more and stronger and
the wine experience just becomes larger. Therefore, we offer the possibility to
have a glass of wine after the treatments at Luxury Spa. And... if you like
cucumber water, we take care of that as well.
To have
wine recommendations with treatments have no therapeutic function, it is a way
of really saying that Luxury Spa stands for pleasure. It's not about being
health; try to become even more beautiful, worry about a new wrinkle. There are
others that are excellent in this area. Our job at Luxury Spa is to create
pleasure and harmony for a short while. This in a luxurious environment that
doesn't remind you of the piles at the desk, or the hundred unread mails in
your inbox. At Reisen, Gripsholm and Södertuna Castle, mobile phones doesn't
even work in the treatment rooms.

At Luxury
Spa we offer massage, body treatments and facial treatments for all
tastes. We are also extra proud over our 4 hand massage which we still, at
least what we know of, are alone in Sweden about. Read more under Treatments.
